Reaffirming its unwavering dedication to Islamic banking excellence, Bank Nizwa has demonstrated impressive resilience throughout the third quarter, ending on September 30, with a net profit of 11.68 million Omani Rials. Rooted in a culture of innovation and customer-centric Sharia principles, the bank achieved a 9% increase in net profits.
Bank Nizwa, the Sultanate of Oman’s most trusted Islamic bank, participated as the ‘Islamic Banking Partner’ at the Urban October event, hosted at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center from 29 to 31 October 2023. Organized by the Ministry of Housing, this event coincides with the global observance of Urban October, spotlighting the significant role that cities play in shaping environmental sustainability and economic resilience.

As part of this campaign, Bank Nizwa is exclusively offering Omani women eco-friendly credit cards with complimentary annual subscription. This move underscores the bank’s commitment to empowering its women customers with financial freedom and convenient Sharia-compliant banking solutions.
In an endeavour to bring its services closer to its customers, Bank Nizwa has remained steadfast in continuously expanding its branch network to cover all strategic and remote locations across the country. In line with the same, the bank recently inaugurated its Suwaiq branch. The inauguration ceremony was held under the patronage of HE Said Hamed Hilal Al Saadi, Majlis A’lShure Deputy Chairman and Member representing Willayat Suwaiq and saw the presence of Mr. Khalid Al Kayed, CEO of Bank Nizwa and members of the executive management of the bank.
