Bringing together its employees, stakeholders and guests during a special gala dinner event, Bank Nizwa celebrated its 5th year anniversary as the Sultanate’s pioneer Islamic bank.
Catering to the high demand for its Shari’a-compliant auto finance solution, Bank Nizwa introduces its seasonal financing offer into the market until March 20th 2018.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower, Bank Nizwa hosted 70 new Omani graduates at their headquarters to present them with career opportunities within the bank. Welcomed by Khalid bin Abdul Rahman Al Zadjali, Head of Human Resources, the fresh graduates were given an overview of the bank’s departments and working culture. During their visit, the bank conducted assessments to the 70 candidates for an opportunity to be shortlisted in the next stage of the recruitment process.
Bank Nizwa signed a financing agreement with Duqm Development Company LLC (DDC), a member of the Asyad Group (Asyad), to finance Phase 1 of the Duqm Frontier Town project. The project covers 23 hectares and comprises retail shops, recreational facilities and luxury units, of which 250 are residential apartments and 94 villas. The partnership comes as part of the bank’s strategy to diversify its expanding portfolio of corporate clients.

Hosting the event were members from the bank’s Board, CEO Khalid Al Kayed and General Manager of Wholesale Banking, R. Narasimhan among others from the bank’s senior management team.
